The market, although marketedly different from one year ago, has remained fairly consistent over the past 3 weeks.  We haven't seen any wild swings like the stock market.  The number of new listings to the market is up slightly (243) however, a large number of these are in a newly released conversion project in the West End, so the number of resale listings coming to the market has actually declined.  We saw 254 price changes, and 50 sales.  In the past week, we saw 3 properties sell at $3 mil and over, the highest price was $3,550,000 for a newer executive style home in Shaughnessy.  The lowest price was $215,000 for a bachelor suite Downtown.  Of the 50 sales, only 9 detached houses sold, the balance were townhouses and condos.  We are starting to see showings pick up mostly in the condo sector, as buyers who are on the ball are recognizing that there are some great opportunities out there.
