The Real Estate Board of Vancouver has released the Housing Price Index for the month of September, 2009:

Detached - $ 1,448,233 (the 3 month average is $ 1,399,858)
Attached - $ 713,482 (the 3 month average is $ 707,136)
Condo - $ 480,959 (the 3 month average is $ 475,364)

Listing inventory has dropped slightly from last week, now at 2,127.  285 New listings hit the market over the past week, and 188 untis were reported sold, a sale to list ratio of 66% (up from the previous week).  The increase in sales is due to more product coming to market in the lower end price ranges.
